Summary1215: MAC addresses not allowing uppercase characters
DescriptionI attempted to use a MAC address with uppercase letters, as they occur if I am copy/pasting from a windows terminal. The uppercase letters made the MAC address invalid, even though the lowercase letters I used got normalized into upper case letters.

This issue should have reproducibility changed to sometimes or random.

Is it a specific MAC address that is rejected? Could you try reproducing the bug on demo.racktables.org?

I managed to reproduce on demo, it looks like I accidentally had a trailing whitespace character when I copy/pasted. Looks like user error, sorry about that.

You are right, it's the trailing space, but it should be discarded silently. I will check and update.
