| Summary | 1583: Match different formats of MAC address | ||||
| Description | When searching for MAC addresses it would be really good to have the different formats matched. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | There are 4 common formats for MAC address, which Racktables should match without external conversión: - 0123456789ab - 01.23.45.67.89.ab - 01:23:45:67:89:ab - 01-23-45-67-89-ab The third format seems to be the standard choosen by Racktables, so this could be expanded to automatically format inputs in the MAC field to that format. | ||||
| Additional Information | I have perl and bash scrpts to convert quickly the MAC, but I would love to see this automated by Racktables | ||||

| I have not seen the notation "01.23.45.67.89.ab" before, where is it used? The other notations should be treated as equivalent in RackTables, if you can show an example of the opposite, please do. | |
| That is a mistake on my part. The conversión works as expected. | |
