| Summary | 2055: New installation, foreign key violation in database | ||||
| Description | I discovered a foreign key violation in database. When reinstalling a blank new version of Racktables, the issue was still there. Main page -> patch cables is empty. When switching to the "configure heaps" tab i get 1 item, but editing it throws a Database error: foreign key violation. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Wipe all data, install 21.5 or 22.0 new with a new blank database and go to patch cables and edit the one item under heaps | ||||

| both 21.5 and 22.0 have this issue. | |
| Thank you for your patience. This is not a bug, but rather a useless error message. What this generic message means in this particular context is that this combination of the cable and the ends types is invalid. In other words, SFF-8470 and twinax do not work together. You can find valid combinations in Configuration -> Patch cables -> Connector compatibility. | |
