What I need is to be able to change cable ID without linked itens. I have a rack with 5 Switchs, all ports connected to points in my building (some are connected to PC's, some are not). All cables are identified by a code on jack (before patch cord), like this: "B-2-13", which means rack B, patch panel 2, port 13 and this port are connected to some switch (let's "say my switch A"). I have only my switch configurd in rack tables, so i should be able to use "(Un)link or (un)reserve" field and save the 'remote' name for a PC and able to register this ID (B-2-13). Today, i can only set cable ID for linked items (registered on racktables). |
