| Summary | 953: Archival of objects | ||||
| Description | it would be very helpful for us if there was the option to set an object as "archived". Now, if a server gets removed from the datacenter, we can only delete it, because otherwise it would show up as unmounted, which would be an inconsistency for us. | ||||

I have two ideas how you can do this: 1.) add tags like "archived" and "active" or something like that. Mark all not archived objects as "active" and then filter by it. done ;) or 2.) create an specific container named "archive" which can contain ALL type of objects. then just add your old servers to the archive. done :) |

I agree to cyb3rwulf. This could be achieved by tagging and filtering. You could even filter by 'not {$unmounted}' and do nothing more. |
